Ethnic groups seek PM resignation the ethnic groups have demanded his resignation and formation of an independent government comprising non-political personalities. ...... In a joint statement, the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NFIN) and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum said time has come to seek alternative to PM Koirala to lead the government. ...... The ethnic groups threatened to revive the demonstrations for immediate declaration of republic and full proportional representative election system. They further said the agreement reached with the government on mixed election system was on condition that the election would be held on November 22. After the suspension of the polls, the ethnic groups said their demand remain intact.
